Well this past week was very stressful for the whole house...it was MID TERMS! Thankfully everyone has survived and we had a wonderful weekend. Friday was very relaxing, just did laundry in preparation for our Greece week and went over to the Natural History Museum across the street. I don't know how often I say this, probably a lot, but it is really cool to live so close to so many museums. On Saturday we explored Portobello Road. I spent only 4.50 pounds and got some postcards as well as a sandwich and two muffins, very thrifty if you ask me. Portobello Road is basically like a swap meet all crammed into a narrow street. Although it was mostly antique type stuff, vintage clothing, and a lot of really delicious street food. It was really interesting and I plan on going back soon. Sunday morning I went to our local church Holy Trinity Brompton and the children sang, it was the cutest service! Sunday afternoon we decided to walk around near the Thames River and we saw the London Eye as well as Big Ben. We also discovered a really cool arcade with air hockey, bumper cars, and bowling...the child in me wants to go back! Well now I need to pack for Greece, I am not bringing a computer so I won't be able to easily contact anyone, I'll be back on Friday night though.
